The device is as simple as it is clever. It consists of two concentric cylindrical chambers (one inside the other), which in a resting condition are completely insulated. By exerting pressure on the center of the capsule, the bottom clicks and allows the liquid housed in the outer chamber to flow to the inner chamber, where the compressed pad is located. At this point, the pad, rehydrating on contact with the makeup remover liquid, grows until it is completely absorbed. The resulting increase in volume literally pops the towel out of the capsule, ready for use.
