The glass adapts its shape to that of the wood, giving stability to the structure of the lamp. The wood of which the base is made, the "gamal wood", is a wood with an irregular and jagged shape, which recalls that of marine corals: hence the name "coral wood". This wood, originally from Indonesia, is recovered and worked to become the basis of this splendid object.
